A 'Triple Crown Artist' is an artist who has been commissioned to create the event artwork for the prestigious Triple Crown of Surfing, which is considered an honour in the world of 'surf art'. Each year since 1983, an artist is chosen to create original artwork themed on the event's locations on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
