Jenifer Higginbotham Prince grew up on the beach surfing, sailing and diving, in Malibu, California. She received training in art and painting at Santa Monica City College and UCLA. In 1978 she moved to Kauai for further inspiration and to surf. Her intense love of Hawaii’s landscapes and seascapes inspired her to put these images to canvas. Jenifer paints outside in the impressionist plein air style. Her paintings are filled with expressive color and light, catching fleeting moments in time. She has participated in juried and solo art shows in Hawaii and California, and completed several murals for private estates and businesses. Her oil paintings and plein air art can be found in collections worldwide.
