Camille is a French-born photographer and filmmaker. She has been based in Asia since 2012 and has now found her home on a small island in the Philippines. She finds inspiration in nature, femininity, the ocean, and the sky — and her body of work is a nod to these influences. In her photography, she wants to present a poetic and ethereal view of the surf life. Her emotional highs and lows inspire her — she finds creative energy in her daily feelings. Her work centers on female subjects as a reflection of her own vision, and as a way to communicate through them. Through her dreamlike images, she wants to highlight the beauty of women from all around the world and share their talent with others. She has always been fascinated by women’s body and their relationship with the ocean, and how it helps them to highlight female’s confidence, beauty, and freedom. Her work is simply an honour to the movement of water, the light and the particular feminity that these settings allow to explore.
