Eric Robison has a natural inclination to capture elements of tradition and twist them into an eclectic expression of visual imagery. His method of creativity is aggressive and bold. He was hired by Walt Disney Imagineering in 1987 as a show concept designer. His unique, interpretive paintings of classic Disney characters were discovered by Imagineering President, Marty Sklar in 1989, and he’s been a best-selling artist in Disney’s theme parks, galleries, and stores ever since. His ‘One Hundred Mickeys’ for Walt Disney’s 100th birthday broke records, selling out in 40 days. You may also recognise his art below featured in the 2015 Van’s World Cup of Surfing poster.
