I have been drawing forever and have been airbrushing for 10 years. Out of those 10 years I've spent 5 of them painting surfboards. During this time I perfected painting waves from photographs but now as I evolve as an artist, I love to create what I call surreal surf art. I like to give the waves/ocean a humanistic feel using the figure or facial expressions to bring the ocean to life and provoking thought.
Over the last 10 years of painting I have been constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with an airbrush and changing people's perception of it. I think it is the forgotten art tool, the missing link between a paintbrush and a computer.
