Clark Takashima (1963-2014)

We’re sad to hear of the passing away of Hawaiian surf artist Clark Takashima. Clark was always so friendly and full of energy, whenever we talked. It was my pleasure and honour to showcase his art on Club Of The Waves. He had an inspiring passion for life, art and surfing. He very much embodied the aloha spirit. Not to mention creating beautiful works of art. Reading some of the tributes fellow artists, friends and the media have written in response to this news just highlights what a special person he was. Rest in peace, Clark.
