| Biography Born in San Francisco and raised in Santa Cruz, Matt is a lifelong artist and currently paints with oils and acrylics on board or canvas. He discovered a love of surfing and the beauty of the coast early on and it has been a favorite subject of his art ever since. Matt is also inspired by trips to the seascapes of Northern California, Big Sur and Hawaii. He has a passion for great art, great design, and publishing. Matt served as Art Director of The Juice, a regional surfing magazine and he currently is a Creative Services Manager for a large retailer. Matt resides in Santa Cruz with his wife and two young sons.
